Join us at Ashtanga Yoga Victoria for a deeply restorative Moon Day practice led by Michele Archibald a nourishing evening designed to help you unwind, release tension, and reconnect with stillness.
This special class weaves together the meditative depth of Yin Yoga and the profound rest of Yoga Nidra, offering a soothing reset for body, mind, and spirit.

The moon has long been a symbol of reflection, intuition, and renewal. As we move through the darker season, this Moon Day offers an opportunity to pause and restore to honor cycles of rest as much as growth.
It’s a time to let go of effort, trust the process, and allow the quiet to do its work. Through gentle stillness and guided meditation, we’ll harmonize with the lunar rhythm and nourish our inner light.
Yin & Nidra with Michele: A Journey Into Stillness
This 90-minute class begins with Yin Yoga — slow, meditative postures held for several minutes to release the deep layers of tension in the body. As you settle into each shape, the practice invites softening, surrender, and space.
From there, we’ll transition into Yoga Nidra, or “yogic sleep,” a guided meditation done in complete rest. This deeply restorative technique supports the nervous system, quiets the mind, and allows you to enter a state of effortless awareness a place between waking and dreaming where true healing can unfold.
Michele’s calm, compassionate teaching style creates an environment of safety and ease. With over a decade of experience and training in trauma-informed yoga, she skillfully guides students of all levels to move at their own pace and explore what rest truly feels like.
