Sunya: New Moon Yin
Join us for Śūnya: New Moon Yin, a contemplative evening practice led by Makenzie Dale. Śūnya speaks to the space that remains when we stop filling every moment. Under the quiet energy of the New Moon, we are invited to slow down, turn inward and cultivate a gentle presence with whatever arises.
Through long-held Yin postures, conscious breathing (pranayama) and stillness, we will explore the philosophical themes of Śūnya (emptiness and spaciousness), Pratyāhāra (turning awareness inward) and Īśvara-praṇidhāna (quiet, peaceful surrender).
This practice invites us to soften the body, quiet the mind and release what has been, without rushing toward what comes next. Rather than filling the space, we learn to rest within it — listening inward and allowing something new to emerge.
