Under the light of the Full Moon, we invite you to slow down, soften, and listen deeply.

Join sound practitioner and somatic educator Charlie Gates (they/them) for a Somatic Sound Ritual—a 75-minute sound bath journey through embodied listening, sound meditation, and dreamy states of rest. This Full Moon offering is an opportunity to reconnect with your nervous system, release what no longer serves, and bathe in a field of sound and stillness.

The evening will include:
✨ Gentle movement to shake off tension and ground into the body
✨ Deep Listening meditations to expand inner awareness
✨ A closing sound bath with a blend of acoustic and electronic instrumentation, vocals, and sonic textures

This special event lands on the Full Moon, which holds particular significance in the Ashtanga tradition. In Ashtanga Yoga, Moon Days—both Full and New Moons—are days of rest. Because the moon influences the body’s internal tides (just as it does the ocean), Ashtangis traditionally refrain from practicing on these days to honor the natural rhythms of energy, exertion, and rest. Instead of physical practice, Moon Days become a space for reflection, integration, and softer rituals.

This Sound Bath is our way of honouring the lunar pause—a chance to be in community, in stillness, and in sound.

This event is open to everyone. No experience necessary.
Bring your mat! We invite you to come exactly as you are.
