Return To Earth
Bhumi Devi & The Soil of the Heart
Step out of the rush of daily life and into an evening of sacred sound, breath, chanting, and stillness. Join Uma Devi and Tifannie of the Sitka and Stillness Collective for an immersive experience rooted in Bhakti Yoga and the quiet reverence of sacred sound.
As we move into the crisp, inward-turning season of October, this gathering invites us to reconnect with Bhumi Devi, the ancient Goddess of the Earth, and with the grounding wisdom of the earth beneath us. Through breath, mantra, voice, and vibration, we’ll explore what it means to soften the impulse to do and create space for simply being.
The evening will weave together slow, stabilizing pranayama, devotional chanting and root mantras, and a deeply grounding sound bath with low-frequency bowls and gongs. Together, these practices create space to settle, listen, and reconnect with the body and the senses.
You’ll be invited to release what no longer serves, return to your foundation, and steep in the quiet wisdom that becomes easier to hear when we slow down.
We’ll close the evening with prasad and an earthy herbal infusion, offering a simple way to ground and share in community.
No previous experience with chanting, breathwork, or sound baths is required. All are welcome.
