Philosophy Circle with Kimber + Carolyn
Join us for our next community Philosophy Circle with Kimber and Carolyn, following Led Primary. This month, we’ll turn our attention toward the Yamas, the first limb of Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga.
The Yamas offer foundational principles for how we relate—to ourselves, to one another, and to the world around us. Together, we’ll explore these teachings through conversation and reflection, considering how they might show up not only in our practice, but in everyday life.
Rather than a lecture, this will be an open and welcoming conversation. Bring your questions, experiences, and perspectives, or simply come to listen and reflect with the community.
What to Expect:
-
- An exploration of the five Yamas
- Conversation around how these teachings can inform our practice and daily lives
- Space for questions, reflections, and shared experiences
- A relaxed, open discussion for practitioners of all levels
- Whether you’ve been practicing Ashtanga for years or are just beginning to explore yoga philosophy, you’re welcome to join us.
Your Teachers:
Kimber and Carolyn are longtime practitioners and teachers at Ashtanga Yoga Victoria with a shared commitment to continued study, practice, and inquiry. This Philosophy Circle is an opportunity to explore the deeper layers of yoga together through experience, conversation, and community.
