May Challenge 2025: Step Onto Your Mat & Into Your Power!

May is just around the corner, and you know what that means… it’s time for the May Challenge at Ashtanga Yoga Victoria!

This annual tradition is one of our favorite parts of the year—a chance to ignite your practice, build community, and show up for yourself in a powerful way. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or just starting your journey, this month is all about consistency, connection, and celebration.

What’s the Challenge?

Your goal:
👉 Practice 6 days a week, every week in May.
Yes, it’s a challenge—but it’s totally doable, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Prizes?

Absolutely. Every week you attend 6 days, you’re entered into a draw for weekly prizes.
But that’s not all…

If you attend a minimum of 5 days a week, every single week, you’ll qualify for the GRAND PRIZE at the end of the month! (Trust us, it’s worth it.) We’ve collaborated with local brands to create a wide range of prizes and goods, including brands like ANIAN, Lümia Botanicals, Goldilocks Goods, and Carolyn Ferreira Knitwear (and so many more).

Tips for a Successful Month

We want you to thrive—not burn out. Here’s how to stay steady and strong all month long:

1. Pace Yourself
Don’t go full throttle on day one. Ask your Mysore teacher how to modify your practice so it suits your energy, body, and schedule.

2. Get Proper Rest
Rest is not a luxury—it’s part of the practice. Prioritize sleep and downtime so your body can rebuild and recharge.

3. Eat Nourishing Foods
Fuel your body with whole, nutrient-rich foods that support your energy and recovery.

4. Stay Connected to Your TEAM!
Reach out, cheer each other on, and stay inspired. The community energy is part of the magic!
