Join us on May 31st for Blue Moon Yoga Nidra, a deeply restorative sound and meditation experience guided by Ricardo Allen. This free community offering invites you into a space of stillness, awareness, and energetic balance through the practice of Yoga Nidra and immersive sound.

As the final day of our month-long Grounded in Practice May Challenge, this special gathering offers a moment to pause, reflect, and reconnect before we transition into our community celebration and prize giveaways beginning at 12:00 PM. We’ll begin the day together with this nourishing sound experience — an opportunity to settle the nervous system, restore the body, and close out the month in deep presence and community.

Often described as “yogic sleep,” Yoga Nidra guides the body into profound relaxation while the mind rests in a state between waking and dreaming. Through sound, breath, and guided awareness, we will journey through the balancing of the seven temples — inviting harmony throughout the energetic body and nervous system.

As a regular practitioner and facilitator of yoga nidra and music, Ricardo approaches this practice through the understanding that beneath the movement of thoughts and emotions there is always a quiet background awareness present. Nidra becomes both rest and awakening — a paradoxical space where deeper states of being can gently emerge.

This Blue Moon gathering is an invitation to slow down, soften inward, and experience the restorative power of conscious rest in community.

Ricardo Allen is a practitioner and facilitator of yoga nidra and music whose offerings are rooted in awareness, sound, and deep rest practices. His work invites participants to explore the subtle space of consciousness that remains present beneath thoughts, feelings, and sensation.
