Trini Foundation By Donation Yoga Class
In loving memory of Nick Doerter “Soco”
Ashtanga Yoga Victoria and Gallery Merrick unite to bring you a special by donation yoga class led by Kimber and DJ’d by Xavier! Taking place at Gallery Merrick on Government St.
All proceeds go to Soco’s memorial fund: Nick Deorter “Soco” graduated business school with Kimber and they hiked the Appalachian trail together. Sadly, Soco lost his life to the opioid crisis back in 2017.
The Trini Foundation
A non-profit organization dedicated to helping people with substance use disorders. By creating environments of physical, mental, and spiritual support through integrating recovery services with Ashtanga yoga and mindfulness practices, the Trini Foundation offers opportunities for long-term recovery.
The Trini Foundation partners with treatment centres, recovery programs, and yoga studios nationwide to help offer yoga classes to individuals in early recovery. Ashtanga Yoga Victoria has chosen to take part in this, and we ask our greater community to join us to facilitate mindful healing to those who are in need.
