About the Teacher

Arielle Nash is the head teacher at Ashtanga Yoga Victoria, has been teaching yoga for over 12 years, and is a Kinesiologist (biomechanics specialist) by education.

Her teaching is highly influenced by David Robson, Richard Freeman, Paul Dallaghan and Sri OP Tiwari. Her primary teacher is R. Sharath Jois (Mysore, India), to whom she travels annually to study.

She is the founder of the Ashtanga Yoga Research Project, conducting global research on Ashtanga, gender difference and injury, with a continually growing international presence. When teaching internationally, Arielle focuses on yoga anatomy, Prenatal yoga, injury prevention and rehab, and adjustment techniques.
